Cause and Effect
Cause and effect shows the relationship between two things when one thing makes the other thing happen. If you can put the two things into a sentence using "if.... then...", then you have the requirements for cause and effect. For example: If you throw a ball up, then it will fall back down. In this case, throwing the ball up is the cause for it to fall down.

Here are some examples of cause and effect relationships.
save money -------> travel abroad
eat too much -------> get fat
study politics -------> become a lawyer
stay out in the sun too much -------> get a sun burn

There are two main ways to organize cause and effect compositions. One way is the group approach. In this way, you talk first about all the causes together as a group, then you talk about all the effects as a group. The other way to organize cause and effect writing is the alternating chain approach. In this way, you first discuss a cause and its effect. Then you discuss another cause and its effect, and so on.

Your job today is to look at the following cause and effect and write a strong paragraph discussing the causes and effects of:

--This is the Cause--The cobra's plan were to kill the humans that lived in the house. After Nag and Nagaina were going to kill the humans, they were going to take over the garden. They also had twenty five baby cobra eggs. The mongoose, Ricky Tikki was going to stop Nag and Nagaina. He did too.--This is the Effect--He killed both of them and the garden was safe. Also, everyone else was safe, the snakes eggs were eaten by Ricki Tikki and they were no snakes beyonf that point. Rikki Tikki was a garden hero

The cobras are trying to take over the garden.Rikki is trying to protect the garden.The mean cobras cant do the job they want.Rikki Tikki Tavi killed both cobras.Now the garden is safe

The snake's plan would take a big toll on the garden. First off all of the animals would die and that would concern the people, so they would come outside to investigate. Then the snakes would kill the people. Then there would be noone stopping them from taking over the garden, so the snakes would and then there would never be another animal in the yard except for the snakes and the returning prey.

When the snakes came to the garden they started to cause problems. Like the animals were afraid of the snake. They feared that they couldn't the snake would hur them. Thats exactly what they attempted to do. They tried to kill the birds and the other animal in the garden. They would also try and kill animals that went near there eggs They Brought fear through the whole garden. This is how the snakes effected the garden.

The cobras basic plan was to kill the humans and take the garden back.The garden will go out of control and the snakes will get their way. And no one will be able to help them deafeat the cobras.

The cobras plan is too eat everything in sight! Some of the things that cobras eat are very impotant to the garden. Like the mice who eat the grass or the birds that eat the vegetables. Now the grass and vegetables will grow rapid and out of control. More importantly the owners of the garden will be freighted by the cobras present and will want to be as far as they can be away from the garden. Who knew one little snake could cause so much trouble??

The cobras plan is to destroy the garden but there is rikki tikki tavi that can stop them. rikki can stop them because he is a mongoose. mongooses kill snakes so the cobras plan wasn,t to wise. so the cobra nag is dead and nagina is badly hurt.

The cobras plan was to catch the mongoose and kill the family. They ate the birds'and other small animals' eggs. Later on Rikki found out the plan caught them and first killed Death, then Nag, then the cobra eggs and last but not least Nagaina( Nag's wife).Those were the causes of the effect and the effect was that Nagaina never bothered the garden again and the Rikki's human family was safe.

The cobras plan is to do something to the garden. So the cause is that the cobras plan and the effect is what he is going to do to the garden. For example, if the cobras plan is to cause the garden to become destroyed then the cobra must destroy the garden. So the cobra will do anything in its power to accomplish what it wants. That is the cause and effect of the cobras plan to effect the garden.

The cobras eat whatever they can in the garden. The cobras are like the rulers in the garden. Everything in the garden is frightned of the cobras. The cobras do whatever they can to survive in the garden, and they eat what they can eat.

The cbras plan was to kill the family. this would leave the garden unprotected, so the cobras could raise generations that could desteroy most animal life in, and possibly outside the garden. As for Rikki Tikki... it would be to much for him to handle.

If the cobra kills the family then the garden will be taken over by the cobras. The cause was that the cobras will kill the family. The effect is that the garden will be in control of the cobras. That's the cause and the effect of the cobras plan.

Rikki tikki's plan was to kill Nag(snake), then if his plan worked the garden will be safe and not ruined. Also, the child named Teddy with be safe as well as his mom and dad because Nag was trying to kill the humans and the garden.

The cobras plan was to take over the garden.Nag was killed in the bathtub of teddy's house .Nagania was killed in her den underground and darzee sang a cheerfull song.the effect of the story was that the cobras dyed and the garden was safe again.

Nag and Nagina had a plan to take over the house and the garden, by killing the owners of the house. The family was nice to Rikki Tikki Tabbi, and he protected them as a payment. The family cared to his wounds, and they fed him. Nag went into the bathroom through a hole in the wall. He went into the tub and waited for the dad to go take a bath in the morning. Then Nag would kill him. Nagina had 25 eggs , and Rikki Tikki Tabbi destroyed 24 of them, but Nagina got the last one, but the egg got destroyed when she died. The mongoose saved the day... for the third time in a row!!!!!

The cobra's plan was to take over the garden. Since Rikki Tikki Tavi was brave and curious, he killed them. the effect on the garden was that there was fear and death. Darzee's baby died because of the cobras. So no one was brave enough except for Rikki Tikki Tavi. So the affect was that the garden was free and out of danger.

Becuase of the cobras plan the whole garden and the humans in the bongalo are terroized. So becuase of the cobras plzn and the effect on the garden riki descides to end before it even starts.

The cobras karait, ragiana, and Nag are trying to harm every human and every animal in the garden. The cause is that they are bad cobras. They always abuse people and thing like that. The effect is all the animals and plants will die in the garden. The cobras are mean snakes that abuse and effect the garden.

The cobras plan was to go after Rikki's family first.That did not work becausegoing after the family is bad because Rikki coul of knew that they were going after his family so he got one cobra and killed him.So if you go to Rikki's family before Rikki than your plan will fail and the cobras will get killed by Rikki.

If the cobra's plan were to succeed. Then the inhabitants of the garden would be dead within little time. The cobra's plan is to kill the Rikki and the humans so their 27 babies have a house to live in. Killing Rikki is needed so there is no one to to protect the residents of the garden, so their babies could now feed upon them and would not starve to death.

The cobras plan affected the garden in making the animals frightened. If the cobras plan had worked then all of the animals in the garden would have been in danger. Not only would there have been Nag and Nagina but the eggs would have hatched and the would have been another 25 killers going around eating the animals. 27 cobras would have been way to many cobras for Rikki-Tikki to take care of. An example of the animals being frightened is when Chuchundra was so scared that he could barely talk to Rikki. The whole garden was on alert right up until Nagina died. Even if the plan had worked there would be a shortage of food (animals) for the cobras. The cobras plan would have made a negative effect on the garden.

The cobras of the garden Nag and Nagaina wanted to take over the house and the garden. Then they would not be bothered by the family and their new friend Riki.They are always bothered by Riki because they ate a bird named Darzee's egg.The effect of the snakes plan would be that the house would be empty. Also they would be the king and queen of the garden.

If the cobras defeat the mongoose then they will take over the graden. So they will rule the garden and the animals will probly have to do wht they say. The birds may be in danger for there kids because the cobras can eat more of their eggs. And the birds may not have any babies.

i think that the effect that the cobras had on the garden and its occupants was horrible. they ruled over the other animals like the king and his slaves. the fact that the cobras came out of know where when darzee's egg fell and nag ate him was horrid and i thing that there effect was a bad one.

Most people or animals have an instinct. Cobras need food, so their way it to eat the other animals. It's not mean. It is trying to survive.Rikki Tikki Tavi found a way to beat Nag, so now he is dead.

The cobras' plan to kill Rikki Tikki and his family affected the garden alot. Darzee was concerned about the eggs, because they could hatch any time and kill Rikki. Rikki was also affected. He needed to keep Teddy's family safe and make sure they weren't killed by Nav and Nagaina.

The corbras plan is to kill Ricky Ticky, the bird's, the family, and all threats that live in the garden. The effect would be that if the family is dead the snakes could live in the house, take over the garden and go looking for territory...

If the cobras take over the garden, then the family and other animals will live in terror. If the cobras plan fails because of rebellion like Rikki, then the snakes will have to die or leave and the garden will live in harmony. If Rikki and the snakes die, then the garden will mourn their loss but celebrate their freedom.

The cobrs plan had made a big effect on the garden. To begin the cobras wanted to kill th people who owned the garden. If that were to happen the garden would have gone out of control. Not only would the garden become overgrown but the garden would have been ruled by snakes. Since the cobras plan didnt worked and they ended up dead the garden became a safer place to live.

For example a Corba is in a garden. If a Cobra is in a graden then it would eat all the plants in the garden. So the Cobra going in the garden is the cause and the effect is when he ate all the plants. So know you know what cause and effect means.

The cobras plan was to kill the people so then Rikki Tikki would leave because the house is empty. Then the cobras would rule the garden again. SO they would be the king and queen of the garden again. The other animals would have to be careful with their kids because if they are not careful their kids will be eaten by the snakes.

The cause of Nag and Nagina's plan was to kill the family and Rikki. The effect was that Nag got killed. When Nag got killed that caused Nagina to fight Rikki. The effect from that decision killed Nagina. The plan failed which meant the garnden was free.

The cobras plan did not work. They went into the house and got killed by Rikki. Then Nagiana tried killing the boy and then she got killed. All there plans went wrong. Now the garden is saved and will not be bothered by the evil snakes again.

The Cobas plans were to become the king and the queen of the garden.One by one they began killing the animals in the garden.Next,the snakes decided to attack the family living in the house.The only thing stoping the Cobas from killing the family was the wild mongoose.The mongoose killed the snakes which made the animals in the garden safe again.

The cobra's plan was to kill the people in the house. When the people were gone and dead it would cause Rikki Tiki Tavi to leave the house. If Rikki Tiki Tavi left the house, it would let the snakes run the garden. They would be able to eat all the bird eggs and smaller animals they wanted to.

The cobras plan was to kill the people and take over the garden fo themselves. When the gardens inhabitents herd of this it went into a termoil. Then when Rikki Tikki came to the garden, things seemed to calm down a little.

The cobras plan was to kill the family and make Rikki Tikki go away. Rikki Tikki killed Karachi which the cause of that was nag wanted revenge. Nag tried to kill the family so Rikki killed Naag which then made Nagaina want revenge. Rikki killed her and all the eggs which caused the garden and family to be safe.

The cobra's plan was to destro the family so he could be the kin of the graden. If his plan had been to attack the family when they are asleep then his plan might have worked. But Rikki killed Nag and Nagaina, so the effects on the garden is that there will be no more dange and th corbas will not eat Darzees eggs anymore.

The cobras plan was to steel food from the garden then the garden wouldnt have anymore food left in it. The humans that worked hard on the garden wouldnt have any food.
